Dan Webber
Mini-Biography
I was born July of 1980 in Beachmont- the capital of Revere, Massachusetts. My mother was a school teacher and my father was a fire fighter. I enjoyed telling stories ever since I could speak.
I am the youngest person published in the 1990 American Poetry Anthology. I danced and acted in theater until I graduated high school with achievement in media in 1998.
I went on to college for four years at Bridgewater State, but could not find myself. I studied aviation, accounting, business management, theater arts, creative writing, and other subjects. Although I did not earn a degree for my four years of work in college, I did earn my wife’s hand in marriage.
I swatted the acting bug by landing roles as an extra in commercials for Pepsi and Foxfoods Casino. I cheered as an extreme fan extra in the feature film The Game Plan. I discovered more opportunities behind the camera and launched D-Web Productions in 2004. I leveled up as a writer, producer, director, videographer, photographer, editor, and graphic designer. I worked on dozens of teams and hundreds of media projects.
From 2006 to 2008, I produced promotional videos and media for Barstoolsports.com.
In 2008, I was the Production Director for the pilot episode of Dirty Water TV on NESN.
From 2009 to 2012, I wrote and optioned screenplays. I produced and directed a pilot for a split live action/animated television series.
When my children were born, I stepped away from media production to focus on fatherhood. As my kids get older, I’m reigniting my creative pursuits.
